Week 4 Recap
We have a lot to get to, lets start with the Thursday Night Double Dip ...

I received multiple screenshots of this image right after the Browns and Steelers game started. I'm pleased that everyone found humor in the bottom four out of five double-dipping during Thursday Night Football. To me, it's a savvy move or a veteran move some might say. If you're looking to break a slump, the Thursday Night Football Double Dip (TNFDD) is the strategy to use. I've been practicing it for years. You’ll be on edge, just like we all were, but about 85-90% of the time... it works all of the time.
Jimmy O "No" ... where to begin with Jimmy O. Poor guy. Gets invited to Teaser League, someone probably told him he would have fun and most likely he still will but starting off 0-4 as a rookie is as rough as it gets. On top of that, he was an Island Boy with the Saints last night. He is officially the first player this season to be put on Epstein Watch.
And now, Sam C. Wow, Sam C. I can usually send a text reminder about picks 99% of the time, like "friendly picks reminder" or "get your picks in." However, this past Sunday was the 1% exception. From 8 am to 12:15 pm, I was constantly on the move and only finished submitting all the picks by 12:15 pm. I didn't notice that he hadn't submitted his picks. I felt bad, but in the end, 50 out of 51 players managed to submit their picks without a reminder.
Did everyone notice how the Cardinals got bloody? That unnecessary pick 6 with no time remaining. All the Giants player needed to do was fall down like almost every player would. Instead, he ran it in, costing Ardel & Berk/Dom $1081.00. BRUTAL.
A small group of unlucky players were added to the All-Time Records last week. The loss of $1081 placed four players among the top 5 for "Most $ Lost in a Week". This isn't the best scenario for them, but hopefully, it serves as motivation moving forward.
We have two days of rest and then we're on to week 5. The Teaser Tracker has been great. For those not following it, you should.
Thanks for everyone getting their picks in. Lines will be out Thursday morning. The machine keeps rolling!
