Wild week - Raiders & Ravens were bad beats, tough to see happen but it happens. Still trying to figure out why the Ravens chose to go for 2 to make it 38-32 instead of kicking the EP and making it 38-31. Jake H. would have waltzed into the green room with open arms, now he's facing an uphill battle heading into week 4 at 1-2 down $1400. He's a three year vet, he's been here before, he knows how to dig himself out of a hole.
We had our first 3 team loser of the year (Ardel M.) and a couple two team losers (Mark H. & Bill P.). Heading into week 3 all we're feeling good sitting at 2-0, in the green room hanging out. Now, all three are in the red.
Kyle G. goes against the Bears and they burn him. He should have known that was coming, he knows better. The Bears always find a way to make you sick, even when they win.
I REALLY wanted that Eagles blood. It was there for us and it got taken away. That would have sent the leaderboard into chaos.
Cole G Flirting With Epstein Watch
Starting the season off 0-3 is not ideal. Cole G. has to find a way to turn things around right now. The good thing is it's early, we're only in week 3 and he has 19 weeks to get into the green:
What is Epstein Watch: When a player loses 5 weeks in a row they get put on Epstein Watch.
Stats
Here are some stats compared to last season:
Undefeated: We have 19 players that are 3-0 after the first three weeks. Last season we only had 4. That's a huge gap, not sure why that is. Less upsets to start the season, wide gap between the good teams and the bad teams.
Penalty Pot: After week 3 of last season the penalty pot was at $1250, this season we're at $1100.
Low Winnings: The highest weekly winning after 3 weeks is $360. Last season the first 3 weeks were: $650/$525/$600
The Tides Will Turn: Based on all the stats I just rattled off it's only a matter of time before it evens out. Stay in the green because these trends won't last.
Week 4
Per usual I'll have the lines updated Thursday morning, any questions reach out.
We have 2 MNF games again this week - I'm not a fan of this at all.
Sal P. & Bill V. are my picks to click this season. Two champions who've been through the grind, both starting off 3-0 and both feeling confident about their picks.
