Week 6 Recap

Before I start the recap, I will always have the Standings updated Tuesday morning by 7am CT. You don't need to wait for an email from me, just go to the website and take a look.

This week, seven out of the eleven undefeated teams were defeated. Now, only four teams remain unbeaten, three of which are newcomers. They are playing with a relaxed and liberated style.

NFL London blows.

I'm starting to warm up to having two Monday Night Football games, but I still feel it's a bit excessive. I'd prefer more games on Sundays. It would be better to schedule two MNF games after the baseball playoffs are finished. There's only so much time in the evening to watch sports.

E-A-G-L-E-S... Many people will avoid Thursday Night Football after the Eagles spoiled their weekend. Thursday nights aren't for the faint-hearted; you know from the start that your weekend could be ruined.

I'm surprised that Eric F. didn't choose his G-Men. This might be the first time he hasn't picked the Giants.

No team rallies like the Buffalo Bills. Everyone expected Josh Allen to lead a last-minute touchdown drive to avert disaster. It seemed almost certain. That tipped interception was exactly what we needed, adding $800.00 to the penalty pot, which was significant.

The Penalty Pot is on pace for $8400 - the goal is a minimum of $10K.

In the spreadsheet for weekly picks, I will organize it by the teams with the most selections instead of alphabetically. I made this change this week, though I'm not sure if anyone noticed.

Colin K. is feeling himself with his picks right now - reading the board better than anyone at the moment.

John N. is another one feeling himself with his picks. Not as many "reaches" as Colin K. but he's navigating the blood very well.

Brendan B. remains at the forefront of the Teaser League World, holding first place in both Teaser and Vampire categories.

Vampire Update: Nobody found the blood this week.

Bear Down. Great game the other night. Ben Johnson will have this team kicking ass and taking names by week 12. Leader of men.
